My Goodreads Giveaway just wrapped up a few days ago. I intended to log in the day it ended to see what happened to my sales rank and get the stats on how many people requested the book…you know, behind the scenes author stuff. Well, life being what it is, it has taken me a few days, but THIS happened:

The Last Farm is currently sitting at #109 in Contemporary American Fiction. Right when the giveaway ended and those 50 copies got distributed, the Kindle overall ranking hit #8411. For perspective, it usually hangs out down in the millions. Unfortunately, Amazon does not track category rankings, so I suspect the book broke into the top 100 in its categories, but I don’t have any way to find out. Silly me for being slow! Still, it is super fun to be sitting at #109 in ANY category at any time. I made a couple of non-giveaway sales, and 1139 people requested the book and added it to their “To be Read” lists. Yay!
