I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet, but today a childhood dream was realized. I don’t know if I can even say that, as I don’t think I dreamed this far ahead back in those days. I just wrote for fun. Now, somehow, I was in the famed Barnes and Noble bookstore today, the place I literally would get lost in for hours in high school, and I sold my. own. books. (And I totally just had to edit that to plural.) How fun is that?
It was wonderful to meet some new readers today. I can’t wait to see what you think of Knightess and Lady of the Tournament. Thank you so much to the managers (especially Madeleine!) at Barnes and Noble Wilkes-Barre for having me and being so accommodating by putting me front and center in the store. I hope to work with you in the future. Author friends reading this, this is great store to work with. Call their store number and ask for Madeleine’s email, give her your pitch. You never know.
If you missed me today, no worries. The store currently has my book in stock! Whoo-hoo!
Happy reading everyone!
Yours,
J.A. Stein
