• Kick Out Cancer Benefit for the Gruber Family
  • Heather Gruber was a good friend and fellow equestrian who passed last week after a recent diagnosis of late-stage cancer. Just over a month ago she was up in her barn feeding horses, ready with a smile and happy to chat, and now she is gone. She was only 49 and leaves behind four children. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. In support of the Grubers, the local community is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner and Chinese Auction Saturday May 13 from 3-8pm at the Deer Lake Fire Company, Orwigsburg, PA.
